Comparing Portraits

 
This is how the Salvador Dali as Mona Lisa is different from the Mona Lisa Leodarno da Vinci in many ways. Dali’s has manly hands, his own face, and is holding money. Dali’s Mona Lisa is the exact same thing as Leonardo’s except for those things. I think Dali wanted to make the Mona Lisa not so gloomy and make a fun Mona Lisa because that would make it more famous and memorable. Dali probably painted his own version of the Mona Lisa because he had his own museum built while he was alive, which means he wanted to be famous so he painted his own Mona Lisa so he could become more famous since the Mona Lisa is famous.
