Mona Lisa by Leonardo Da Vinci- 1503-1506, Realism
|
The Mona Lisa was done in the years of 1503 - 1506, by the world known artist. Many people like to look at not only how she smiles, but also how her eyebrows are missing. Many people wonder why she is missing her eyebrows, or how she is only half smiling. Although we might never be sure, the idea is that it was just the trend of the time. In the background, you will see a very nice, yet shady background. You can see a winding road to her left, with soft willow-looking trees as well. Her eyes and cheeks have shadows, which makes this painting realistic. The Mona Lisa, although beautifull, is not something that can keep you busy, and in awe. That's what silly puddy is for. |
