Although these pictures are both great pictures they use a totaly different style of painting. The Mona Lisa is sharp and clear, while Jeune Fille Assie au Chapeau Blanc is sketchey and vague. In the Mona Lisa in the background you can clearly make out a forest with roads and a horizon line, but in Jeune Fille Assie au Chapeau Blanc the background is nothing but turquoise scribbles. The Mona Lisa uses dark and calm colors, yet Jeune Fille Assie au Chapeau Blanc uses bright happy colors.
