This portrait is by Chuck close and is very interesting to me because even though there are no colors it grabs your attention. It has a distinct difference from other paintings because it looks like it was created on a computer. It looks as though she is demoralized and furious at the same time and it really makes you wonder what she is thinking about. It keeps you bewildered about whatever she is doing and what she is thinking about. Why did Chuck Close choose her and why did he make her so hopeless? This truly is amazing that someone can make a big portrait out of a lot of little squares of different tones from white to black. You can see that her hair is messed up and that could have meant that she had just woke up and was still tired and had corrupt hair. This woman has a very big nose and it could have been the center of the picture because that is the first thing I saw when I looked at the picture. She is wearing black this might show that she is gloomy or tired or grieving. | ||
