1. Research the links below to select your favorite portrait painting and gather information about your favorite painting. Create a folder titled "portraitquest." Save an image of your favorite painting in the folder. Create a Word document and type in historical information, title, artist, style, and date of the painting. Copy any useful quotes from the internet and be sure to cite them. Use the same Word document to write your analysis of the portrait after you have completed your research.

2. Find an image of the "Mona Lisa" and save it in the same "portraitquest" folder. Create another Word document and type in historical information, name of the artist, style, and date of the "Mona Lisa." Gather information and quotes about the "Mona Lisa" that will help you analyze the painting and contrast it to your favorite portrait. Be sure to cite your sources.

3. Be sure to use the vocabulary of several Elements and Principles of Art in your analysis of the portraits.

4. Once you have gathered all your information and images, you are ready to create your webpages. Be sure to use the template.
