Speed Skating

What happens when I skate so fast?
Do I crash into the black wall
So far off in the distance
And yet so rapidly approaching?
Do my black skates fly
Out of control?
Or do I fall, sprawled out,
A blob of blue and green
Against an ocean of white?
Maybe I just keep skating
And win!
