Personal Property
|
|
Items which are not necessary for school or are
illegal are not allowed in school. A locker
will be assigned in which to keep personal property and materials
related to school life. Lockers and personal belongings may be
searched
by
the Principal
or her designee. (Please see UNNECESSARY ITEMS section)
The school is not responsible for theft, damaged
or vandalized personal property.
Students assume responsibility for loss or damage
to their clothing, equipment, books, or instruments. While we try
to encourage all students to behave honestly, we cannot assume responsibility
if they do not. There are several precautions which students and
families can take to avoid loss:
- Please put names on all articles of clothing, musical instruments
etc.
- Do not allow students to bring to school large sums of money
or articles of real or sentimental value.
- Radios, tape players, CD’s Gameboys, or other items,
which are not needed for school activities are not to be brought
to school. If they are, they may be confiscated and returned only
to the parents.
- Students are not allowed to bring anything to school for the
purpose of selling it. (This includes but not limited to; Girl
Scout cookies, outside fundraisers etc
)
- The school will not be responsible for loss or damage of items,
which we do not require as part of students educational
experience; nor will we assist in the recovery of the same.
