Friday Text November 20, 2009

A: What's up, Jordan Middle School

B:I'm Jack

A: And I'm Christian, and these are the announcements for Friday November 20th, 2009!

B: To start our show, we would like to finish what we tried to say yesterday. Tryouts for the Jordan Drama Production of "The Mouse That Roared" are December 1st and December 3rd, with callbacks on the 4th

A: The Mouse that Roared is a hilarious comedy with plenty of roles for both girls and boys, so try out!

B: Hey, Christian, do you like dances?

A: Totally!

B: Well, Here's a couple of Jordan Dancers to tell you more!

A: Cool

B: Wow, the year has gone by fast!

A: Yeah, first with school work, electives, sports…

B: Oh yeah, remember all of the sports we did!

A: Cross Country, flag football, and VOLLEYBALL!!!

B: Did you know our 8A girls volleyball team were 13-0 undefeated

and won the championships?

A: Yes I did, and speaking of these past times, remember when the 8th Grade volleyball team

and the staff played against each other?

B: A little bit, but here's a segment to tell us more about it!

B: Wow, that seemed like a whole lot of fun. You know what, Christian ? I think that we should have more dances at Jordan or maybe "green up the school".

A: Well why don't you apply to become a team rep?

B: Huh?

A: If you're a student who wants to improve Jordan and voice your opinions and those of your peers, apply to be an advisory rep!

B: Cool! But how do I get an application?

A: Pick one up next to the student council box in the front office and fill out a short questionnaire. Then, return it to one of your core teachers (that's English, math, science, and social studies), except for 8th graders, not your math teacher.

B: Team leaders, don't forget to check your box in the office with important information relating to this! So if you want to make a difference at Jordan and express your cool ideas, apply to become a team rep!

A: I sure will! By the way, Jack, do you know all of the holidays in November?

B: What, you mean Thanksgiving?

A: No, silly, I mean all of the other ones!

B: Oh, well I don't, but here's a segment to educate all of the rest of us

A: Wow, there are tons of fun holidays in November!!

B: An announcement to all sixth graders: Wheel two ends today!

A: I hope you've enjoyed it, but now you're onto wheel three!

A; let's end the show with the excellent art show at the district office that runs until december 4th

B: And have a great weekend!
