A: Did you know that the slanted line that divides fractions is called
a virgule?
B: Wow, I sure didn't!  Well, you learn
something new everyday!
A: Happy Fall, Jordan Middle School?  I'm Talia
B: And I'm Remi.  And here are the announcements for Thursday 19, 2009.
A: To start our show, we would like to welcome the Jordan PTA members
that came today!
B: Also, we thought you'd like to know that today's Holiday is "Have a
Bad Day" day!
A: Although we hope you don't have a bad day
B: Hey Talia, do you like dances?
A:  Of course!
B: Well that's good, because there's a dance on Friday for 7th and 8th
graders.  The theme is Hollywood.
A: And don't forget, if you don't like to dance, maybe you want to
play some ping pong, 'cause they'll have that set up too!
B: Awesome.  Here's a segment to tell you more!


A: Wow, I can't wait to get a ticket!  An announcement to all
teachers, the latte man is here today!
B: Man, I could use a latte right now. (PAUSE FOR THREE SECONDS)  You
know what, Talia ? I think that we should have more dances at Jordan
or maybe "green up the school".
A: Well why don't you apply to become a team rep?
B: Huh?
A: If you're a student who wants to improve Jordan and voice your
opinions and those of your peers, apply to be an advisory rep!
B: And here's Student Council to tell you more

A: Thanks, guys!  Well, we're almost done, guys, but before we sign
off, Remi, Did you hear about what the tangerine team did?
B: No, but I heard it had something to do with colonial times and
cooking.  Here's a segment to tell you more.


A: Wow that sounded like tons of fun! A Quick Anouncement from Ms.
Gray: auditions for the winter play, The Mouse That Roared, are the
first week of december
B: More info tomorrow
