As a veteran special education teacher at Jordan, having been a member of the Jordan community for fourteen years, I felt it was time to share the many insights about our students diverse academic and social strengths and weaknesses that I've collected over time. I've
taught the Special Day Class here since the first year Jordan re-opened and watched the school bloom and grow thanks to the care and devotion of this dedicated community of parents, students and educators. This has been a journey of neverending learning for me
and I think being a Site Council member will be the ultimate lesson in teamwork and setting and reaching goals. It will afford me the opportunity to help shape the future paths we follow at this elite school and be a part of it s inception. Finally, I might be able to make a contribution of time and energy to help ensure Jordan's legacy of being an exceptional school to be a part of.
