An email was received and discussed from the President of the PTA Council regarding a survey on the financial needs of each school in the district and how the schools spend discretionary funds. S.Barbarasch and Karen Ersted will reply.
The survey was the principalÕs most urgent requirement to finalize feedback from the group. Because there are lots of surveys going on in the District, the middle school administrators and the District survey personnel will hold a meeting in early March to ensure consistency of questions across all middle schools in the District.
The next meeting should focus on the ÒSEBIÕsÓ (Small Effort, Big Impact) that can be put into place for the remainder of the school year.
They have finished issuing funds for the teacherÕs grants. There is a small amount of money left over and they are considering putting it towards technology needs for the school and will do further work with L.Goldman to determine next steps, if any, by the PTA.
Hoops for Hearts information was distributed. A blueprint for a de-stress day on 4/26, which is also a Òno homeworkÓ night, has been drafted and there is a committee working to finalize plans.
The group broke into their small groups once again to finalize questions and changes to the questions for the teachers, students and parents surveys. This was accomplished.
Meeting was adjourned slightly earlier than plan.
