During the student's ancient Greece
unit they reinacted the same thought process that one would go through in
ancient times to create one of these beautiful masterpieces.
In reality a merchant would make
an earn out of clay on a potters wheel and decorated them with fine paints
and jewelry.
Although the students only made pictures
of urns using crayons and watercolors, they did create magical fantasies
in their minds which are displayed in their pictures which is what was done
in ancient Greece.
