Bubonic Plague

Continued

Later people found out what caused the bubonic plague and where it originated. The plague originated when a siege was happening in an Italian city. The invaders had the plague at the time and they launched dead bodies into the city with catapults. After a while the people fled by ships to an Italian port. From here the disease spread all over Europe. Black Death was mostly carried by fleas. However the fleas were on the rats so the rats helped transfer the plague too. During the winter the plague virtually disappeared because the fleas became dormant.
