Blooey's Editorials-English and Profanity

English and profanity. Two different things, but both pretty important. I like websites that have overall good grammar, spelling, punctuation, and vocabulary, but I detest websites that have even the slightest swear word on any of their pages. You can probably tell that I'm very much against swearing, and I don't swear at all. Some people don't think I'm human because of that =P
I don't really understand why there was a need for swear words in the first place. If people are mad and just have to say something to let it out, they could use swear words, but then again, there are other words in the English language that you could use. I manage to survive without them, but I also am a geek of some sort, so...not many people want to be like me.
Have you ever come across a website with really bad English? For example, "there" is used instead of "they're" or "their," and sometimes it gets so bad that you can't even understand what he/she is trying to say? It's kind of amazing, really. They are such geniuses that they can master PHP and CGI and HTML, but they can't even spell "computer." Once, I corrected every mistake on a website in an e-mail to the webmaster, and I just got back a large file containing about a billion swear words. In another case, they just said "Thanks, but I don't have the time to fix these." If they don't have the time to fix mistakes, then how do they find the time to make all of them? I don't think there's a really good excuse for making all these mistakes, because even if they were really stupid and really didn't know how to spell, they could've just run the whole document through a spell checker like Microsoft Word. Practically every computer has Microsoft Word. I guess what I'm trying to say is...double-check your work more frequently, or more people will start writing editorials like these. =P
