Clubs

1. Not enough money to fund new clubs

a. Less than half of club funding left

2. 4 new clubs might not be able to run

3. We could have fundraisers to raise money to let clubs run

4. Some teachers didn't turn in the club payment forms, didn't receive money

5. Asking all teachers whether or not they are willing to run a club w/o funding and payment

6. Hannah will write a formal letter asking whether or not they are willing to run the club for free

7. Ms Sano will email all new club supervisors that we are still looking into funding; if the want to start the club already, they can, funding might not come through

 

Pennies for Patients

1. Final total is $4414.48 total

2. Max will contact Jennifer (Pennies for Patients Contact) w/ final number

3. Surprising large number of money in change

4. We have enough money to throw a party for Herreshoff advisory (most money donated per person)

5. Pizza Party (Pizza-a-go-go)

a. Ordering the day before party

b. Party will be during advisory

6. Location

a.     Since the two advisories in each grade will combine parties, it could be in one of their classes

b.     Or, in Hugh Center Court/Cafetorium area, but then everyone would be together.

i. Not the best choice because it's weather-dependent

 

Green Citizen

1. Environment Club at Gunn ran GreenCitizen before

2. Probably will be a campaign, not a fundraiser

3. Carts set up to drop off cell phones, batteries, ink cartridges, etc for 3 weeks

4. April 22nd start (National Earth Day)

5. One or two weekend days we'll allow people to drop off their big items, like computers, at Jordan.

a. Student Council officers will be present to supervise

6. Extra meeting next Monday dedicated just to GreenCitizen

 

Campus Garbage

1. After lunch not everyone gets to see the horrible trash and seagulls

2.     We should have someone go out with a video camera and take clips of the horrendous trash

a. Show clips on JTV

3.     During the weeks of GreenCitizen, we could take a clip once or twice a week to see improvement
