Girl Scout Proposal
1. Two girl scouts came to us and presented a new fundraiser they would like to
do.
2. They would like new dog toys or money donations to the Silicon Valley Humane Society, and they would like to run it for a week after Spring Break. There will be boxes in the office for money and toys.
3. We voted on this proposition, and it was voted no 9-0. Sarah, Tia, and Hannah did not vote.
4. In the future, we should think about how accepting one group's request would lead to more requests. We can say that we tried to let one Girl Scout troop try their project, and it didn't work well so we won't approve any in the future.
5. We can't accept every proposal and it's hard to justify approving just some and not others.
GreenCitizen
