Clubs

1. Max will forward club teacher's responses to everyone. They're supposed to respond to our letter asking if they'd be willing to run their club without financial compensation.

2. Responses due Tuesday (tomorrow).

 

General Communication

1. Student council needs to be on top of things and everyone needs to check their emails daily.

2. EVERY email we send out should be read by ALL Student Council officers. It's part of your job!

3. Max will change the password to jordanstudentcouncil@gmail.com and then send the password to us so everyone can access the account.

 

Girl Scout Proposal

1. Sixth graders Elisabeth and Molly have a request from Girl Scouts.

2. Want to get Jordan students to donate gently used stuffed animals to Ms. Enos's room (F8).

3. The stuffed animals will be donated to shelters.

4. A week and a half before Spring Break would be a good time for others to donate.

5. All Student Council needs to do is approve their project.

6. We had a formal vote on approval of the project. (Unanimous approval.) Sarah and Britta were absent and did not vote.

 

 

 

 

Green Citizen

1. Amanda and Max will do the clip of the trash at Hugh Center Court after lunch and get it up on JTV.

2. We'll do clips once or twice a week during GreenCitizen to see how much we've improved on getting trash into trashcans. 

3. Picture of a garbage can getting fuller each day—instead of trash going onto the floor, it'll go into the trash can.

4. GreenCitizen representatives will come to make an assembly.

a.     4/25 – during SSR & Advisory.

i. Possible to do 2 grades in one day? (6th graders have already seen the movie as part of their curriculum.)

b.     4/20 – possible date for "An Inconvenient Truth" assembly.

c.     We will confirm all dates with Ms. Ofek.
