Letter to Club Sponsors

1. Less than half of the club sponsors have responded to our letter.

2. If we had an extra $500 we could financially support all the clubs.

3. Some teachers have made it clear that they would like to be paid, but if not, then they'd still continue their club.

            a. We could apologize and say sorry, we really don't have enough money, or we can somehow raise $500. (assuming everyone who hasn't responded wants to be paid)

4. Teachers are paid $12.40/meeting. Math club is paid three times that amount because it goes on for 90 minutes, has two teachers, and has from 70-80 members.

5. We haven't heard from Blum, Pappas, Gardner, Kandil, Limburg, and Herbst.

6. We took a vote deciding whether or not we should pay the clubs with teacher sponsors who want financial support. The vote was 11-1, approving funding the clubs.

Pizza Party Prize

1. Amanda's mom bought all the soda for the parties—100 cans for $40. She bought lemonade, Sprite, Coke, Diet Coke, and Root Beer.

2. Pizza parties will be on Wednesday, March 14.

3. The sixth grade Advisory winners, Sano and Levy, don't want the pizza party and are going to donate the money.

4. The 7th and 8th grade parties will be in Hugh Center Court or the Gym.

            a. It'd be easier to clean up trash in the Gym.

5. Pizza-a-Go-Go offered us a new coupon: 19 large pizzas for $150.

6. Amanda's mom will order the pizzas.

7. Pizza-a-Go-Go will deliver the pizza to the main office on the party day.

8. Hannah will provide the napkins.

9. Chirag will provide the paper plates.

10. The party will go on for SSR and Advisory, with administrator approval. (Ms. Sano will confirm this.)

11. Ms. Sano will email the staff letting them know that Student Council will be supervising the party, and therefore will not be present in their SSR/Advisory class.

12. Ms. Sano will also set up the tables.

13. Chirag will email the winning Advisory's teachers letting them know about the party.

14. The Domino's pizza party provided by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will go to Student Council and Ms. Herreshoff's class IF the 19 large pizza deal does not include them already.

            a. Amanda will confirm this.

We'll have an extra meeting next Monday dedicated to GreenCitizen in room F9.
