6th Grade Elections
1. 6th graders who are running: 2 Presidents, 4 VPs, 3 Treasurers, 1 Secretary
2. Need to make ballots
a. Teacher ballot and separate student ballot
b. Max will be making ballots by Monday, October 23, Hannah and Amanda will copy them and cut them by Wednesday, October 25
3. Election day = October 27
a. Counting the ballots will be done Friday after school and on Monday
4. Editing speeches
a. Nine speeches, weÕll divide them between the officers
b. Edited speeches due this Friday
Club Sign-ups
1. Need to approve all the clubs before club sign-ups—we will have an extra meeting next Monday (October 23)
2.We need tables and chairs for club sign-ups (next Wednesday, October 25)
3.Announcements Monday, October 23 to let people know about the clubs
Dates
1.We have quite a lot going on and here's a separate section just for the upcoming deadlines and dates:
a. Max will give an announcement on October 19th about election posters and the club sign-up form deadline (October 20th)
b. Edited 6th grade speeches are due this Friday, October 20th
c. Max needs to do the ballots by Friday, October 20th
d. An extra meeting will be held Monday, October 23rd so we can go through the club forms. Quick meeting!
e. Amanda and Hannah need to cut/copy the ballots by Tuesday, October 24th
f. Club signups are on Wednesday, October 25th and we need to be there to supervise that.
g. 6th grade Elections are on next Friday, October 27th and after school we are counting ballots.
h. If needed, an extra meeting will be held the following Monday, October 30th to count any remaining ballots (but hopefully they'll be done by Friday!)
