6th Grade Elections

1. Should advertise 6th grade elections more

2. 7th grade Officers: today during Advisory, go to all of the 6th grade Advisory classes to advertise the elections (about Student Council, mandatory meeting Thursday), and remind about rep meeting next week

Advisory Rep Meeting

1. First one next Wednesday in Cafetorium

2. Need to clean up the Cafetorium after the meeting because there will be a Pride Assembly after

2. Agenda needed for the meeting (Chloe, Max, Amanda)

            a. They are required to give information to their advisories

            b. Should tell us their concern + ideas

            c. Magazine Drive profits + reiterating what itŐs for

            d. 6th grade elections

 

Ms. Ofek arrived to give an report about the magazine drive:

Magazine Drive Reporting

1. No bonus day! We're doing okay.

2. Can't disclose numbers yet because we're not finished with the magazine drive. (People are still handing in late orders. Ms. Ofek is still taking orders, and prizes are still being given out.)

3. Thank you to Melinda Christopherson, a parent volunteer, who helped a lot with the magazine drive! She dealt with errors with payments during the magazine drive, called up people, etc. THANKS!!

4, Eighth grade probably gave 10% of the total funds raised, seventh grade 30% and sixth grade 60%.

5. Gifts were a good addition.

 

 

Site Council Reps

1. Chloe and Max will be filling in for Chirag during the Site Council Meetings.

2. Talk about issues during the school. (magazine drive, Advisory reps just elected, new direction—not as many fundraisers, 6th grade elections)

3. Every Student Council member has to go to one Site Council meeting.

4. On a future Wednesday there will be a retreat to the District Office. Get to miss class. A few Student Council members will attend.
