Member Announcements
1. Need 2 student council members to go to the staff meeting today at 2pm.
2. Max presented his Magazine Drive flyer and passed it around for comments.
Advisory Reps
1. Last year didnÕt do much. They came to one meeting (Pennies for Patients) and gave boxes to their classrooms.
2. Have scheduled meetings for the reps to attend, not just when we need them.
3. We want to incorporate Advisory Reps more.
4. They should come to meetings once a month.
5. They act as messengers and tell their class whatÕs happening around our school.
6. A few officers should be in charge of the agenda when reps come. (Amanda, Max, and Chloe will do that.)
7. For instance, if reps were here today, weÕd be chatting up the magazine drive so they can deliver that message to their advisories.
8. By next Wednesday, all reps should be elected.
9. Student Council Officers cannot be reps.
Magazine Drive
1. Leadership has put one poster in each of the locker rooms and two posters in the A and B halls. They have also updated the bulletin board in A hall.
2. We should put our posters in Hugh Center Court, G hall (facing C wing), F wing, and E wing.
Amanda has left.
3. Michael, Chloe, and Chirag will be putting up posters.
4. We can put skits on JTV next week.
a. Chirag and Kevin are going to do a remix of the Magazine Drive Song and
perform in live.
Fundraisers
1. We should get rid of most fundraisers and focus more on our school.
2. The fundraisers weÕre doing right now are the Magazine Drive, Turkey Trot, and Pennies for Patients. Should we stick to this plan or cut/add some?
3. If we keep those three fundraisers, all Student Council members will be doing are fundraisers.
4. If we cut those fundraisers, we can help out our school more, but not other organizations.
