1. We need to make a poster for the volunteer luncheon (held for all of parent volunteers). The poster needs to say "Thank You"

2. Earth Week:

a. All student council members must save up trash for all of the noontime activities taking place during Earth Week. Instead of using trash that is dirty or sticky, we need to collect pieces that are cleaner.

b. Things that we can bring: toilet paper rolls, plastic forks, egg cartons, empty bottles, Styrofoam/ Plastic cup and plates, and paper bags (like the ones at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's)

c. Materials we need for Earth Week: String, Tape, Scissors, String, Crayons etc. (We will know exactly what materials we need during the trial, which will be on Tuesday the 20^th of May, a week before the actual event)

d. Prizes include eco-friendly items such as water bottles, and candy

3. "Dear Alex" Simulation – Simone B. and Vivian L. (also helping: Amanda B. and Maryssa S.)

a. The Simulation will be going on air suring the Last five Tuesdays of school (May 13, 20, 27, June 3 and 10)

b. Since Student Council will be making up all of the simulations, we put together a list of scenarios:

Rumors

Eating Disorders

Exclusion

Relationship Problems

Athleticism

Experimenting with alcohol, drugs, and sex

4. Student Council Elections: Luke P., Michael A.

a. Luke P. revised and edited the informational packet for elections. Amanda B. will be receiving the revised edits from him tomorrow, May 1^st.

b. On Thursday, Student Council, through JTV, needs to announce that there will be an informational meeting. Juliana M. and Michael A. will be going on JTV on Thursday. They will talk about how it is mandatory to come to the meeting if you are running and bring up the news about how Student Council is organizing Earth Week. Juliana M. will be writing the script.

c. . Luke P. and Michael A., Amanda B., Jun Y., and Simone B. will help run the informational meeting.

d. Michael A. and Luke P. will be making up a song for elections.
