ODFL TIME FRAME:
A. A. Ballard raises question to all asking if we want to do
ODFL at the same time as we were going to do pennies for patients.
B. Mrs. Smith was thinking of March or April (We need to
take into account that 3 weeks to a month is not enough time for this planning
this project since the peer helpers are new to fundraisers and we are working
with them)
C. We have to present it to the staff meeting. We also have
to plan with the ODFL organization.
D. After a vote in which all agreed, we are going to do ODFL
in the same timeframe as Pennies for patients.
2. ODFL
Director and other committees
E. M. Augustine is the director of ODFL for student council.
He will run the project, contact ODFL.
F. We are going to have different committees for this
project:
1.
JTV committee
2.
Staff awareness committee
3.
Student activity/involvement committee- activities during lunch which will have
to do with the organization or advisory games
4.
Advertising committee
5.
Money committee- M. Sclaroff brings up that the money committee will not be
involved throughout the process, but only at the end
6.
Mrs. Sano brings up that we should try to do something earth related
.
3.Advisory
and Environmental Team Representatives
A. Amanda
explained to the sixth graders that advisory reps come to a meeting about every
month. There is one for each advisory.
B. Jonathan brings up that if we choose to do the
environmental representative, we should do that before the advisory
representatives.
C. Environmental representatives go to a meeting once a
month. They wanted to elect one student from each grade. This is what the
environmental representativeÕs organizers proposed.
D. S. Buteau is going to be charge of the election for
environmental representatives.
E. We took a vote for people who agree to do the
environmental team representative election before advisory representative.
Everyone agreed.
F. We need to decide when we should to the environmental
team elections. We are going to give an informational meeting. We are going to
give a packet. The representative will be able to post up posters.
G. Dates:

Informational Meeting- January 10

4.
January 23- Uma brings up that we could pre-tape the elections.
3.Trash:
A. We need to stop littering. Near Mr. RoachÕs classroom,
there are lunch tables with holes in the center. People are putting their trash
through that hole.
B. A. Ballard suggests putting a garbage can under the hole.
