1. Giving money to the PTA

If Student Council gives PTA money, the Environmental Team wants to put a note on it to use it in a "green" way, meaning using it on degradable items.

Vote: How much money should we give to the PTA?

Options:

a. $1000

b. Use the money somewhere else

Result: All agree but A. Ballard and J. Filseth on putting in $1000

Reason: A. Ballard says we can have the same party with less money and make it just as fun

Decision: Put in $1000

Vote: Should we use the money in a green way?

Result: All would like to use it in a green way

Vote: How much money should we put in the budget for the PTA?

Options:

a. Giving all of the $1000 to the PTA

b. In between, maybe $500

Result: All agree on giving $500 dollars to the PTA

L. Priolou brings up that we should give some money, since the PTA should know student council is taking action and in touch with them

2. Fundraisers:

Earlier, we talked about having a fundraiser by selling cookies

Result: All agree in doing it

Result: Not voted on, since we do not know when our other fundraiser, ODFL, will be

3. 8^th Grade Gift to School

Vote: Should we put $500 into our 8^th grade gift budget?

Result: All agree on keeping $500 in our 8^th grade gift budget
