  1. Earth Week:

a.    Maryssa S. and Amanda B. will be going on JTV tomorrow. They will talk about all of the activities during earth week.

b.    All student council members need to bring in recyclables by Tuesday . On top of the list made last week, we can also bring in Styrofoam , cardboard, and anything that is clean and not too small to bring in.

c.    We will have a trial for our noontime activity on Tuesday at lunch in F-10. (making an object out of several pieces of recyclables) We can have 5 people go at a time on a long table and give them one minute and thirty seconds to finish the project. For this project, we will provide each student with:

4 egg container (cut out of one whole) for each egg person

1 paper bag

Scissors

Tape

Some sort of bottle

One Yogurt container

d.     Tuesday is bike, walk, or carpool to school day. We are giving out raffle tickets, then having a raffle. We need to get prizes. We need to be all around the school at 7:45am.

e.    Things we need for earth week:

Candy with a minimum amount of trash
Raffle tickets

Plastic water bottle

Cloth bags

Candies such as red vines

Sponges-big yellow

a long table

  f. We need to talk to the janitor about using buckets

  g. The environmental team kids said they would like to help with earth week, so we will include them.

 

2.  Elections

a.   They are tomorrow

b.   Student Council and Teachers write their vote on the ÒpinkÓ ballots.

c.   Those currently in student council will not vote on a student council ballot, but a student ballot

d.   Jun Y., Michael A. , Simone B., Amanda B., and Uma V., will be staying after school to help count ballots
