We are deciding whether we should go on JTV every week or not. We have decided to go on air every week. This way, the school will get to know student council better. This way, people will know what student council is doing. We do not need to go if we REALLY do not have anything to do. JTV schedule:

ODFL:

  1. Luke gave a description of the ODFL. It is an organization where everyone give one dollar so that we can buy a cow for areas who need it to get milk to drink so they can live.
  2. Some brought a similarity. It is similar to the Heifer project. If we did it, then we would have to meet with peer helpers very often.
  3. We can advertise over JTV and put up posters.
  4. This organization would change student council into a fundraising thing, instead of helping students.
  5. All members voted on this issue
  6. Simone, Juliana, and Maryssa do not want to do it. Maryssa thinks that people will want to do Pennies for Patients. People could look forward to Pennies for Patients. Simone says that Pennies for Patients has been doing very well. Juliana says that Pennies for Patients should still stay because you should not replace something that is working for something that we do not know will work.
  7. We voted again. Luke, Juliana, Simone, and Maryssa oppose this time. Luke says that Pennies for patients is a tradition. Many people we know have leukemia. 
  8. Another Vote: With peer helpers Pennies for Patients or ODFL? All want to do Pennies for Patients.
