| This is a beginning level course exploring basic skills in the visual arts. During the course the students develop knowledge of materials and skills that will develop their visual arts literacy. This course covers a variety of two and three dimensional art experiences with emphasis upon technique, expression, historical, and multicultural influences. The exploration of the elements and principles of art and design will serve as a foundation for the lessons presented. Students reflect both verbally and in written form about their work and the art work of others. | |||
