Team Building Day for the Sage Team The 7th grade Sage Team designed,organized and implemented a Team Building Event on October 11, 2006. Many parents helped with this event by assisting group activities.The purpose of the day was to meet new friends while learning positive behaviors and effective methods for working with others.The day began with ice breaker activities in large group; then the students were divided up into groups of 20 (by color).They rotated through activities like: Walking the Line, Untwisting the Human Knot and Magic Carpet...an activity that requires all students to cross a 12 foot divide with only a small carpet. Dr. Katia Petersen was our guest speaker. She continued our theme of working together with focused team building activities. The input was so valuable, students left with the influential statement, "I am responsible for my own actions".
